Scholarship Applications Are Now Closed

IAHA will grant a limited number of professional development scholarships to full and associate IAHA members. Scholarship recipients will receive up to a maximum of $2,500 for travel, accommodation, and registration assistance based on the eligibility and assessment criteria.

The IAHA 2017 Professional Development Scholarships are designed to encourage and support IAHA full and associate members to attend the IAHA National Conference & AGM to be held in Perth from 27-30 November 2017.

For student members the scholarship will also assist in attending the IAHA HealthFusion Team Challenge (HFTC) from 24 November 2017 - please click here to apply for the HFTC and scholarship in a single application form.

These scholarships aim to:

  • Increase participation from IAHA members to attend our national professional development opportunities;
  • Increase participation from IAHA members to attend the Annual General Meeting;
  • Support IAHA members and their professional development needs;
  • Support and encourage national networking with allied health and other related sectors specifically focusing on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health and inter-professional working relationships.

Applications will open Monday 1 July 2017 and close Friday 4 August 2017. Successful applicants will be notified by Monday 21 August 2017.
